10.000 Spectators under the Slopes of Vitranc

A gorgeous sunny day has lured around 10,000 spectators to the Upper Sava Valley for the todays slalom challenge.

Most of them were Slovenes, followed by the Croats, Italians and Austrians. The competitors provided a real feast for the spectators during the second run, since after the first run, the  time differences among the best were really marginal. Since all the competitors skied on all or nothing', a lot of them did not finish the second run and those who did manage to cross the finishing line, were deservedly joyful.

Dense traffic is expected after the completed competition, so we appeal to all spectators to be tolerant and cautious!
