Apline World Cup of disabled persons

January 15th and 16th we have hosted alpine skiers with disabilities.

World Cup in Alpine skiing of disabled persons stopped in Kranjska Gora. On Friday January 15th the contestants competed in giant slalom on Saturday January 16t, in the slalom. In both disciplines competed large number of competitors with varying degrees of disability, the blind competitors, skiing through a radio link with a companion to sit skiing paraplegics. These races were also the first two in the World Cup in Alpine skiing for people with disabilities, which takes place under the auspices of the IPC (International Paralympic Commitee). The winners of Friday's giant slalom, world and Paralympic champions Marie Boch, Schaffelhuber Anna and Alexei Bugaev won also the slalom on Saturday and already in the first races made the lead over the other competitors.
