The last slalom for the 49th Vitranc Cup held before the Olympic Games went to the Austrian Herbst. His young fellow citizen Hirscher took the second place, while the French Lizeroux came third. 

The Slovenians left a much better impression than they did at the yesterday’s giant slalom: Mitja Valenčič took the 14th place, Bernard Vajdič the 19th place, and Mitja Dragšič the 26th place. Dragšič thus won his first World Cup points this year.
