The first run of the slalom below Vitranc has finished. The Italian Razzoli came first followed by the Austrian Herbst, and his colleague Raich who took the third place of the first run.

The Slovenians will have three of their representatives in the second run: Mitja Valenčič, Bernard Vajdič and Mitja Dragšič. The second run begins at 13:00.

Quite a few skiing legends have gathered below Poligon today, Janica Kostelič, who came to support her brother Ivica and Jure Košir. We are pleased that Mr Klammer decided to come and visit Kranjska Gora.

The atmosphere today in Kranjska Gora is phenomenal, first sun rays are breaking through the clouds so even more spectators are expected to come to the second run of the slalom. The funs with banners and horns have been coming from all over Slovenia; here are traditional kurents, and loud supporters from Italy and Austria.
